Meet Alex Covey, a gifted Lead Carpenter with over 15 years of carpentry experience under his belt, Alex is passionate about the craft of building and helping clients transform their homes. As a former business owner and experienced lead carpenter, Alex brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team and his position when he joined VL Builders. He specializes in kitchen and bathroom remodels, and he takes pride in delivering exceptional results.

Born and raised in Boulder, Colorado, Alex has lived in the state his whole life. He is married and has a border collie. Craftsmanship, communication, hard work, integrity, leadership, teamwork, and honesty are the values that drive Alex. His favorite quote, “If opportunity doesn’t knock, build a door” by Milton Berle, perfectly encapsulates his can-do attitude toward work and

life. He firmly believes that the construction industry needs more people who love building for the sake of the craft rather than just for the money.
