Meet Kaitlyn Bumgarner, who joined the VL Builders team in fall of 2022 as Executive Assistant to the Visionary and CEO of VL Builders. She is driven by values of honesty, integrity, and dedication. Originally from Minnesota, Kaitlyn had lived all over the state before moving to Colorado with her husband, Nate, in 2017. They have since built their life together and have three dogs, Tikka, Oakley, and Riley. Kaitlyn brings over 10 years of experience in customer service, including 8 years in banking, sales, and mortgage lending and 3 years in management and business administration.

Kaitlyn's favorite quote is "What you do makes a difference, and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make" by Jane Goodall. One of her favorite books to read was CapitalGaines - Smart Things I Learned Doing Dumb Stuff by Chip Gaines.

Kaitlyn has held a passion for the construction industry since taking a Carpentry class in high school, has an AA from South Central College, and continues to build her knowledge in the construction industry. Something she would like to see change in our industry is the lack of people who value quality over quantity, as well as more women in trades and more realistic estimating.

Kaitlyn enjoys working at VL Builders because of their strong core values, great culture, and standard of exceeding expectations and making remodel dreams come true for all homeowners. When she's not working, Kaitlyn enjoys hiking Colorado trails with her husband and dogs, remodeling and decorating their home, and exploring new places.
